OUR FOCUS
Our focus is to serve the needs of our community. With the revitalization of Hartford and the growth of new business in the downtown area, there is a need for more retail businesses. By increasing the options of retails shops you will increase the purchasing power throughout the downtown area. NiRo is the cutting edge design center that plans to lead Hartford into new era of fashion and design.

OUR STORY
NiRo was created by two teenage designers determined to create a better life through the power of fashion. It all started in a small town high school when two fashionista’s met under similar circumstances.  Drug addicted parents, teenage pregnancy and fashion was their connection.  In an effort to obtain additional income at the age of 15 and 16 they decided to develop their own fashion line. They named it NiRO. Confident that there lives would change through the power of fashion, Ni and Ro continued to focus on NiRo and planned for its future. Over the years they developed NiRo Couture, their own private label clothing line and NiRo Couture the retail store. In an effort to hone their crafts the women of NiRo enrolled in New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, worked in various youth development organizations, and surrounded themselves with the fashion industries’ finest young talent. Confident and inspired by their own experience as teenagers having a wealth of artistic abilities and no forum to express them they decided to implement and entrepreneurship and creative careers program that would give young adults and outlet to turn their creativity into a profitable career and/or business.

NiRo Design Center, LLC
Transforming Visions Into Creative Careers
NiRo Design Center (NDC), LLC was established by two designers, the creators of NiRo Couture, an established women’s wear line and retail store. Inspired by their personal experiences as teenagers having a wealth of artistic abilities and no forum to express them, they decided to create an entrepreneurship program that would give young adults an outlet to turn their creativity into a profitable career and/or business. NiRo Design Center, creators founded their program with an “outside-of-the-box” approach of mixing entrepreneurship and vocational skills development in a way that no other program has done before. We house a staff of highly qualified individuals that posses not only efficiency in their craft, but also the ability to be creative and diverse in the delivery of their training. NiRo Design Center, LLC prides itself on providing a professional and creative work environment, which respects diversity, new ideas, and good work ethic.

NiRo Couture, LLC
NiRo Couture, LLC is a full service retail establishment with a main objective of client satisfaction. Our designs aim to capture the essence of style, function, and personality and celebrate them in a way that a fashion house has never attempted before. NiRo Couture will provide customers with quality materials, innovative designs, and affordable prices. As one of very few establishments in the area, customers are introduced to an environment where clothes are designed and created with them in mind. NiRo will provide specialty services along with its impeccable selection of fashion. Service include: Image Consulting, Beauty Enhancement Services, Closet Therapy, Fashion Styling, and Personal Shopping.

The NiRo Foundation
Where Fashion meets Philanthropy
The NiRo Foundation was created to support youth interested in the fields of fashion, design and entrepreneurship. Donors’ support provides scholarships for un-funded youth, program upgrades and supplies. A portion of the funds is also allocated for guest speakers, educational field trips and celebrations that support the efforts of the foundation. As the number of students that are graduating from high school and the design center increases so does the need to provide scholarships to support post-secondary education efforts, the foundation also supports this growing need.
