FOUNDATION
The NiRo Foundation was created to support youth interested in the fields of fashion, design and entrepreneurship. Donors’ support provides scholarships for unfunded youth, program upgrades and supplies. A portion of the funds is also allocated for guest speakers, educational field trips and celebrations that support the efforts of the foundation. As the number of students that are graduating from high school and the design center increases so does the need to provide scholarships to support post secondary education efforts, the foundation also supports this growth need.

THE ADVISORY BOARD
The NiRo Foundation Advisory Board is a valuable and instrumental component of NiRo Design Center/NiRo Foundation. The Advisory Board is accountable for ensuring that NiRo Design Center/The NiRo Foundation carries out its mission ethically and responsibly.

The NiRo Foundation Advisory Board will work closely with the founders and Director/s who provide who provides leadership and support to enable the Board to carry out its governance responsibility.
The next several years promise to be exciting ones for NiRo Design Center and the NiRo Foundation, Inc. The organization will continue to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and the Advisory Board will play a central role in this important work. here are four major priorities with corresponding committees:
1) Marketing Committee
2) Resource Development Committee
3) Technology Enhancements Committee
4) Accreditation Committee
